The Cascina delle Rose is situated in S Ippolito and can be achieved by the highway fano-grosseto. the locality is Pian di Rose and the Cascina is just down the hill where stands S Ippolito; the town was founded between the VI and the VII century by the Forsempronesi and it was famous for the works of the stone - culters and marble- owners 

Some years ago it was built a Sculpture Symposium on sandstone that gives back force and notoriety to this ancient art. Every years five sculptors form every part of the world come here for a unique and unequalled event called " carving in the square" (scolpire in piazza) which is in the last week of july.
